Strange as it may seem, only a few years ago the most noteworthy aspect of chaotic Paddington was its station, a lofty example of Victorian engineering, built to the specification of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the glazed roof giving shelter thousands of commuters  and a small bronze statue of certain bear.

Today all the excitement is beyond the station. The swankily rejuvenated Paddington Basin, ones a neglected body of water forming the terminus of the Grand Junction Canal, is now desirable Real estate.
